The Board of Trustees, volunteers and staff are a community of professionals, coaches, activists, scholars and students co-facilitating a culture of peace.
Conflicts are inevitable, be it at home, work place, friends and neighbourhoods or even among nations. It has become a norm that unresolved conflicts leave us with a trail of disappointments, hurts, bitterness and worse broken relationships. The truth is it doesn’t have to be so! Conflicts can be transformed, hurts healed and relationships restored.
MISSION
Transform cultures of violence into cultures of peace, unmask and redeem systems and structures that perpetuate injustice, inequity and strife, rehabilitate and restore victims of abuse, domination and violence, build communal cohesiveness and ecological harmony and promote national and global peace.
CORE PROGRAMS
Peace Education
Develop and promote peace education at various levels through curriculum development, partnerships with educational institutions, community based organisations, government departments, NGOs and capacity building.
Community Conflict Transformation
Promote culture of peace through community engagement, peace education and conflict transformation training for children, women, youth, and volatile groups.
Restorative Justice
Restoration, rehabilitation, reconstruction and reconciliation for those in the Criminal Justice System. Engage with people and communities affected by conflict to facilitate healing, restoration, rebuilding of lives and relationships.
Peace Movement:
Develop, support and promote partnerships, networks, advocacy for conflict transformation initiatives to prevent unresolved conflicts and violence in our society.
Peace Research:
Research of indigenous and international peace traditions, cultures, arts and peace building processes
Inter-Faith Dialogue:
Promote inter-faith dialogue among communities to grow in mutual respect, acceptance and handling of conflicts and differences constructively and non-violently

Rabbi Jayakaran
Chairperson
Rabbi Jayakaran a trained social worker with two decades of community development work. Master of Social Work (MSW) from Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore University, MA in Inter-cultural studies from the University of Gloucestershire. Trained in peacebuilding and conflict transformation, basic conflict resolution skills, and peace education from Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI). Guest Faculty Family Research Training Institute (FRTI) and at Dept of Psychology, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. Teach Internal Dynamics of Families, and Certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies
